Our clinic here is located right next to the Poulsbo Doctors Clinic so this has allowed us to focus on supporting the treatment programs that are useful to their physicians.
Poulsbo Village Programs:
General Orthopedics: All of our clinics have PT's with extensive specialized training and many years of experience in treating both spinal (neck/back) injuries as well and extremity (shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, ankle, and foot) injuries. The different physical therapists have many similarities but also utilize a variety of different approaches in how they treat problems based on the differences in their training and their experiences.
Post-Surgical Rehabilitation: All of our clinics have PT's with extensive experience in post-surgical orthopedic rehabilitation. Many of these problems utilize protocols that may vary from one doctor to another, but we understand this and make the appropriate adjustments as needed for different surgeons.
Gym Pass: Patients that are done with their supervised physical therapy programs can purchase a pass that allows them to continue coming in and using our gym to assist with their exercises. This allows us to still keep an eye on them and also answer any questions that may come up.
Hand Therapy: Ron Mimaki PT, OCS, CHT provides this specialty program that includes the treatment of common hand injuries, but also post-surgical rehabilitation, custom splint fabrication, and PCE testing that focuses on hand skills.
Orthotics: Ron Mimaki PT, OCS, CHT provides this specialty program. He evaluates foot dysfunctions, does custom casting of a person's feet, and has customized, corrective orthotics made for customers.
Women's Health: Claudette Wheeler, PT, OCS specializes in women's health for urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, and pre and post natal care.
Lymphedema: Claudette Wheeler, PT, OCS has training in the treatment of lymphedema utilizing manual lymph drainage, compression wrapping and education in self care and management
