Anna Marx PT, DPT Celebrating 1 year

Anna Marx PT, DPT graduated from Regis University with her doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2008. She began her career with Kitsap Physical Therapy in January 2009, she is currently working at the Silverdale Clinic. Anna decided to become a PT because she has a passion for working with people. "My role, as a practitioner, is to facilitate the healing process within the people that I work with. The field of physical therapy allows the physical therapist to incorporate the principles of movement with direct application to the anatomy and physiology of the human body."

Anna's hometown is Eau Claire, Wisconsin and her hobbies involve snowboarding, cross-country skiing, hiking/biking, and traveling.

Welcome, Another DPT to KPT- Dena Larsen!

Dena Larsen, DPT graduated from the University of Washington with her doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2009. She is currently practicing at our Port Orchard clinic. Before becoming a Physical Therapist, she was a computer programmer working in San Diego, her hometown. She loved figuring out how to solve computer problems, now she loves making people feel better and stronger. Dena's philosophy on exercise is reflected in her favorite quote by Quentin Regestain "The patient should be made to understand that he or she must take charge of his own life. Don't take your body to the doctor as if he were a repair shop".

When she is on her own time, she enjoys playing with her son, trying new things, karaoke, and indoor soccer.
