We will advise you on how to correct your positioning and body mechanics to help promote healing and prevent re-injury.

As part of your therapy a physical therapist will assess your body mechanics. Many times poor sitting mechanics, computer positioning, lifting mechanics and poor bending techniques are responsible fully or partially to injuries sustained. We will advise you on how to correct your positioning and body mechanics to help promote healing and prevent re-injury. Typical areas of correction are computer positioning, lifting techniques, gardening and household activities as well as job and recreation specific activities. Inform your therapist of activities that you perform on a regular basis that may contribute to your injury or pain.
