Kitsap Physical Therapy employs practitioners licensed by the state of Washington to practice massage therapy. Our practitioners have completed a minimum of 500 hours of training at a school of massage and have successfully completed the Washington State Board Exam. Studies include in-depth courses of Anatomy and Physiology, Hydrotherapy, Kinesiology, Massage Theory and Practice, and Clinical Injury and Treatment.   A variety of techniques are used by our practitioners.

The first visit will include an evaluation. This consists of the client's completion of a Health History form  and an interview with the practitioner.

Privacy is always respected and modesty is preserved. Clients may wear a gown, undergarments, or comfortable clothing which reveals only the area(s) needing treatment.

Clients may request work on a particular area, or for the full body treatment when coming in for a relaxation massage. Please feel free to discuss any aspect of the treatment with the practitioner.

During the treatment, clients are encouraged to relax and inform the therapist of anything causing discomfort physically or psychologically.
